Additional information

OpenHouse is reimagining after-school learning in India. We are on a mission to build 500 learning centers across every prominent neighborhood in the country. Unlike online EdTechs, we believe learning happens best in person with friends in an offline environment. We are backed by leading venture capitalists like Accel (backed Flipkart & Curefit), and Matrix (backed Ola) to help us realize this dream. If you like working in an early-stage company (less than 100 people) where you can not only perform but also problem solve, take high ownership, and work in a friendly environment to build something special with your peers, we are here for you.

About OpenHouse

OpenHouse is reimagining the future of after-school education. We believe learning is not about the rat race but about enjoying the process. Learning is fun with friends and the community. A community of students, parents, and the best-curated educators is what we plan to build. Founded by Stanford graduates, OpenHouse is headquartered in Bangalore. COVID-19 has reshaped every aspect of our lives; education is no exception, with the world learning to learn online. However, ed-tech so far is designed only for access, not engagement and retention.

Children consume content (pre-recorded or live) and practice MCQs. But the learning doesn't feel natural, warm, or relatable. If our children are going to learn online, we will have to make it a social and immersive experience. We believe we're amongst the first few companies in the world pushing ed-tech to a new era of highly social and community-driven learning.
