Content Writer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Research, and assimilate given goals, customer needs, and competitor positions to arrive at impactful and effective communication strategies
2. Write, edit, and proofread long-form content as needed with an expert understanding of the medium of delivery as well as platform optimization techniques
3. Keep abreast of the latest trends in social media, technology, advertising, marketing & design
4. Write content that is clear, easy to read, and more engaging than similar content
5. Communicate complex topics in ways that are relatable and understandable for readers

Skillsets:

1. Must be driven and motivated to become an expert in the intricacies of a US real estate transaction
2. Thorough understanding of the principles of SEO and the importance and techniques of content in achieving SEO goals
3. Demonstrated expertise in writing long-form in-depth blogs across diverse domains, especially technology and finance.
4. Working understanding of UX principles and website information architecture and the ability to systematically segregate and categorize content in the appropriate structure
5. Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with a team and management to present your ideas convincingly and ensure your vision is brought to life in the final deliverables
6. Experience writing for online publications
7. Must be able to bring unique, thoughtful insights to your content that aren t already on Google (this can come from research or personal experience
8. Must have an understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimization) and how to incorporate a brand naturally into content when appropriate
9. Must be highly organized and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
10. Must have proven experience delivering value-based communications
11. Must have empathy for readers and curiosity to understand their needs and wants
