About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Identify and prospect potential customers, including contractors, architects, interior designers, and other industry professionals
2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customers' needs, project requirements, and budgetary considerations
3. Engage with potential customers through various channels, including cold calling and following up on calls
4. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing any concerns or questions
5. Conduct effective discovery calls and meetings with potential customers to gather information and assess their suitability for our products and services
6. Analyse customer requirements and determine the feasibility of fulfilling their needs through our available brands and products
7. Collaborate with internal teams, such as brand managers and product specialists, to gather relevant information and provide accurate and timely responses to customer queries
8. Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our brands and products
9. Provide accurate and comprehensive sales quotations, proposals, and other documentation required during the pre-sales process
10. Track and maintain customer data and activities in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and progress
11. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities
12. Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified leads for further sales engagement

Earn certifications in these skills

Other requirements

A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. equivalent practical experience will also be considered

Proven experience in pre-sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably in the construction materials or interior design industry

Strong understanding of the construction industry and familiarity with various materials, brands, and product categories

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers and convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying customer needs and potential business opportunities

Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, demonstrating a customer-centric approach

Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tools, and MS Office Suite

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive and goal-oriented mindset

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Salary
Duration: 3 months
Salary during probation: ₹33,000 - 50,000 /month
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 4,00,000 - 6,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Other incentives: 20%
