About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Making outbound calls & answering inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
2. Providing accurate information to customers about company products and services
3. Resolving customer complaints and issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
4. Escalating customer issues to appropriate departments as needed
5. Maintaining customer records and updating them as necessary
6. Responding to customer emails and other written communication in a timely manner
7. Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
8. Meeting or exceeding company performance targets for customer satisfaction, call resolution, and other metrics as assigned
9. Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while working with customers and colleagues
10. Staying up-to-date on company products, services, and policies to ensure accurate and effective customer support
11. Introducing company products and services to customers and explaining their benefits
12. Persuading customers to make a purchase or take a desired action, such as scheduling an appointment or signing up for a subscription
13. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and call logs
14. Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume, conversion rates, and revenue
15. Following up with customers who expressed interest but did not make a purchase
16. Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
17. Collaborating with team members to achieve team and company goals
18. Participating in ongoing training and development to improve sales skills and techniques

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication skills and a clear, pleasant speaking voice
2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to resolve customer issues
3. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and data entry
5. Ability to remain calm and patient while working with frustrated or upset customers
6. Ability to learn and understand complex products and services quickly
7. Familiarity with customer service software and computer systems
8. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or previous customer service experience preferred
