Demonstator Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Explain science with experimentation
2. Engage in student Interaction
3. Work on experimenting fault debugging
4. Demonstrate the use of Experiments, and conduct experiments, exercises, and workshops
5. Assist faculty members in the smooth functioning of the experiments
6. Assist/give guidance, where required, to students who are carrying out experiments or project-related activities, etc.
7. Work on crowd/student handling & maintain discipline
8. Coordinate with school authorities & keep a good rapport with them
9. Maintain demonstration models at school
10. Work on being aware of any health and safety implications of procedures, and take action to maintain a safe environment, raising any concerns with the faculty members
11. Ensure that equipment is functional and/or material for demonstrations, exercises, etc is prepared before the start of the session
12. Work on minor troubleshooting of demonstration models under training & guidance
13. Work on achieving student delight
14. Work on doing an inventory of equipment properly
15. Work on the day-to-day operation of the Science Studio

Skills & Requirements:

1. Basic understanding of physics at the level of grades 6-12
2. Learn experiments, and their demonstration & set up
3. Should be comfortable in handling demonstration models (mechanical/electrical/electronics)
