Design Thinking (Innovation) Mentor Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Run our marketing and introductory workshops online and in person in schools, etc.
2. Employ the concepts and principles of design thinking in the workshops
3. Facilitate student engagement and interaction to draw out their best
4. Make recommendations for the development of our product and service
5. Have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and follow the child protection procedures
6. Work on workshops (workshops are 1- 1.5 hours hour, but in the case of physical workshops, you ll need to be there a little earlier to set up)
7. Commit to a minimum of 14-16 workshops per month

Required:

1. Mentors will need to use their personality and teaching skills to make lessons fun and exciting yet calm and orderly, while also being grounded in the principles of design thinking and innovation
2. The role would be ideal for individuals with a strong presence, belief in the potential of children, a professional demeanor, and bags of charisma
3. You need to bring your energy and enthusiasm into each class to get the children excited about the subject and make lessons fun and inspiring for a full class
4. We would love for you to take initiative to bring in your own ideas to create and deliver fantastic workshops
5. A degree in art, design, and design innovation
6. A passion for working and communicating with children
7. Excellent communication skills
8. An entrepreneurial spirit

Additional details:

1. We are an ed-tech start-up, looking for design mentors who can run our introductory and marketing workshops online and in-person for 9-12-year-olds
2. On-the-training will be provided (please note this is on-the-job training, not for a specified duration, and the candidate does not need to pay for the training and will receive the stipend as mentioned in this job description)
