About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams during the build and release process
2. Maintain QA, UAT, and production environments
3. Monitor the performance of production systems and services
4. Write CronJobs to send daily reports by querying SQL databases
5. Generate ad-hoc reports from databases
6. Perform performance tuning and optimization of servers and applications
7. Write Python and shell scripts to raise alerts for any discrepancies
8. Work day and night shifts on a rotational basis

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. Proficiency in Linux/Unix

2. Proficiency in Shell/Bash Scripting and Python

3. Knowledge of GIT and CI tools such as Jenkins

4. Familiarity with virtual machine (VM) environments

5. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases

6. Knowledge of web servers including Apache, Tomcat, and Jetty

7. Experienced in migration, tuning, and patching activities
