Digital News Editor Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Writing and editing news stories for publication on the website
2. Coordinating with photographers, videographers, producers, and other staff members to ensure that they have all of the information they need to create their content
3. Meeting regularly with the station manager to discuss the progress of current projects and ideas for new projects
4. Conducting research to develop story ideas or angles on existing stories
5. Reviewing and editing articles written by reporters to ensure that they are properly formatted and factually accurate
6. Conducting research to identify potential story ideas for the station, such as local events or issues that may not be covered by other news outlets

Required:

1. Strong editorial background and proofreading skills
2. Experience adhering to editorial and technical style guides
3. Oral and written communication
4. Comfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management contact
5. Able to exert indirect authority to deliver results
6. Bachelor s degree in English, journalism, media or a related field
7. 1+ years demonstrated excellence in content creation or editing, including online publishing
