About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on ensuring that customer orders are processed, packaged, and shipped in an accurate and timely manner
2. Work closely with other departments such as sales, operations, and shipping to ensure that the company's fulfillment goals are met
3. Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently
4. Coordinate with the customer service team and external suppliers and partners to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time
5. Work closely with sales and operations to ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet the demand
6. Pack and ship orders in a timely manner, ensuring that all shipping requirements are met
7. Monitor the shipping process to ensure that all orders are delivered on time and in good condition
8. Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, such as incorrect orders or damaged goods
9. Maintain accurate records of all orders processed, shipped, and delivered
10. Evaluate and improve the fulfillment process to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
11. Ensure packages conform to our branding, quality, and safety guidelines
12. Work on validating and reconciling purchase invoices
Required:
1. We're looking for an energetic, extremely organized individual who is just starting his career and is keen to understand the e-commerce industry by putting in the work
2. 1+ years of experience in fulfillment, shipping, or logistics
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
4. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with order management software
7. Knowledge of shipping regulations and requirements
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
9. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
