About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Developing, maintaining, and optimizing firmware for ESP32-based devices, with a focus on real-time performance
2. Implementing and managing an RTOS environment for multitasking firmware applications
3. Utilizing RTOS features such as queues, tasks, mutexes, semaphores and timers to ensure efficient task management and synchronization
4. Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable C code for embedded systems with an emphasis on real-time constraints
5. Debugging and troubleshooting real-time firmware-related issues
6. Writing test plans and creating test cases for the products
7. Providing informative test reports
8. Ensuring the security and reliability of firmware for IoT devices
9. Collaborating with hardware engineers to design and test firmware-hardware interactions
10. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in ESP32, RTOS, and embedded systems technology
