1. Research potential vendors, compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
2. Procure raw materials, packing materials, and forecast upcoming levels of demand
3. Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing, track orders, and ensure timely delivery
4. Review the quality of purchased products
5. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
6. Work on purchase and procurement activities including quotation collection, purchase requisition, floating enquirers, issuing PO, payment approval requisitions, and follow-up for materials and invoices
7. Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
8. Manage returns and rejections professionally and promptly with suppliers
9. Travel to vendor locations for product check, during sampling and loading of the procured material
10. Coordinate with various departments for the smooth flow of the procurement process
Requirements:
1. Degree/Master's with 1 or 2 years of experience in procurement or fresher who can join immediately
2. Good communication skills (English and Hindi) and negotiation skills
3. Teamwork oriented
4. Ready to travel at least 20 30% in a month to various states in India
