About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Generating leads from the field and following up with them on calls and WhatsApp
2. Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
3. Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
4. Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
5. Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients
6. Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
7. Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
8. Going on the field to onboard and train the clients
9. Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
10. Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales
11. Maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information

Requirements:

1. Graduation is mandatory
2. Familiar with the geography and market understanding of the city
3. Previous experience in field sales or related sales experience
4. Knowing the local language and Hindi is mandatory
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Very strong relationship-building skills
7. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
8. Knowledge of the sales process from initiation to close
9. Familiar with V lookup, H lookup, Pivot table, JIRA, and CRM tools would be a plus
10. Above all, a great attitude and a sense of ownership

What is Dunzo D4B? - Dunzo D4B is an on-demand logistic service for small and medium businesses. We are a B2B2C platform helping small merchants to expand their business by reaching out to their consumers directly. Local businesses need intra-city logistics either to move goods between their shops/locations, send products/goods to their clients/ consumers, or need to transfer their documents between their stakeholders. It is currently being used by 8000 SMEs, from grocery stores to laundry merchants to insurance companies to lawyers and CAs. Dunzo D4B is not the last mile B2B service provider which facilitates multiple drop points from a single pickup. It is not aimed at e-commerce players who are looking for last-mile logistics services.
