As a field service engineer at our robotics company, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional technical support and services to our customers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our robotic systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance. Your expertise and customer-centric approach will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge robotics solutions.
Key responsibilities:
1. Installation and setup:
A. Install and configure robotic systems at customer sites according to specifications
B. Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and tailor installations to their needs
2. Maintenance and repairs:
A. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of robotic systems
B. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identify faulty components, and implement repairs promptly
C. Collaborate with remote technical teams for complex problem-solving
3. Testing and calibration:
A. Conduct rigorous testing and calibration of robotic systems to meet performance standards
B. Fine-tune parameters to optimize system efficiency and accuracy
4. Customer support:
A. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and technical queries
B. Train customers on proper operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems
5. Documentation: Maintain effective documentation of service reports, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation
6. Product knowledge:
A. Stay up-to-date with advancements in robotics technology and our product offerings
B. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance expertise
7. Remote support: Assist customers remotely by guiding them through troubleshooting procedures and offering solutions
8. Safety and compliance: Adhere to safety protocols when working with robotic systems, including risk assessment and proper use of personal protective equipment
9. Reporting: Provide feedback to internal teams regarding common issues, potential improvements, and customer feedback
10. Travel: Travel to customer locations for installations, maintenance, and repairs as required
1. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field preferred (relevant experience and technical certifications may also be considered)
2. Candidates with a strong understanding of the mechanical and electrical components of robotic systems
3. Candidates with the ability to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of robotic systems
4. Candidates with an understanding of electrical systems in robotics, including sensors, motor controllers, encoders, and power distribution
5. Candidates with proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
6. Candidates with an awareness of safety measures when working with robots, including emergency stop procedures, risk assessment, and safeguarding
7. Candidates with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
8. Candidates with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for customer interactions and team collaboration
9. Candidates with dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and building positive relationships
10. Candidates with the ability to adapt to various work environments, challenges, and evolving technologies
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 2,20,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 80%
2. Variable component: 15%
