We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced/fresher career counselor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide individualized career guidance and support to students, and parents, helping them to explore their career options, set career goals, and develop strategies for achieving their objectives.
Key responsibilities:
1. Engage with prospective students and parents to understand their educational needs and career goals
2. Provide detailed information about courses, including curriculum, duration, and career prospects
3. Offer personalized recommendations based on students' interests and academic backgrounds
4. Assist in the admission process and guide students through the necessary steps
5. Follow up with clients and arrange walk-ins
6. Maintain accurate records of interactions with potential students and track progress toward admission
7. Address and resolve concerns or issues raised by prospective students and their families
8. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience throughout the counseling process
9. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to provide relevant, up-to-date information to students
10. Gather feedback from students and provide insights to improve course offerings and counseling processes
11. Prepare and maintain reports on student admissions
12. Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely processing of applications and documentation
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (a background in education or counseling is preferred)
1-2 years of experience or freshers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sales and negotiation abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

Empathetic, patient, and strong problem-solving skills

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,000 - 4,20,000 /year
