About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Identify and mitigate risks associated with Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

2. Investigate data privacy breaches, including conducting root cause analyses and driving corrective and preventive actions

3. Participate in organization-wide privacy improvement initiatives

4. Conduct privacy compliance checks on client engagements, internal solutions, and business processes

5. Review and respond to client-specific privacy requirements and queries

6. Implement, manage, and monitor data privacy policies and associated processes across various business units and functions

Other requirements

Technical and Professional Requirements:

1. Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new technologies or processes, including BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), biometric authentication, mobile apps, and web applications

2. Analyze new product and platform designs to recommend Privacy by Design principles

Preferred Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR)

2. Familiarity with data privacy operations in enterprise-level IT environments

3. Certifications such as:

- CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist)

- CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional)

- DCPLA (DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor)

- Other GDPR-related qualifications
