We are seeking a motivated and street-smart business development executive who can develop long-term relationships to procure catalytic converters from various local sources, including scrapping centers, dismantlers, mechanic shops, service centers, and traders within a defined geographic cluster. The role is highly field-oriented, requiring daily market visits, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop local supplier networks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily field visits to car scrapping centers, dismantlers, mechanic shops, local collectors, and service centers.
2. Identify, inspect, and evaluate catalytic converters available for purchase.
3. Verify quality, serial/model codes, and assess pricing with commercial viability.
4. Share detailed reports with the Head Office, including:
- Inspection data
- Photos, codes, models
- Market trends, prices, and competitor intelligence
- Supplier and contact details
5. Work with the Commercial Manager to finalize purchase decisions.
6. Ensure proper documentation: invoices, KYC forms, and SOP compliance.
7. Coordinate with the logistics team or local partners to arrange material shipment to the Manesar facility.
8. Maintain a daily report of visits, contacts, inquiries, negotiations, and updates.
9. Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Key Skills & Requirements:
1. Must have valid driving license (Two-Wheeler or Four-Wheeler) and be open to full-time field work.
2. Practical, street-smart, with basic education and strong common sense.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Eager to learn and grow within the organization.
5. Responsible, detail-oriented, and document-savvy.
Job Locations/Clusters: Candidates will be assigned to one of the following regional clusters based on preference and local knowledge:
East - Patna, Jamshedpur, or Kolkata (covering West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Eastern UP)
Central - Indore (covering MP, Chhattisgarh, Odisha)
UP Cluster - Western UP and Uttarakhand
North - Punjab & Himachal Pradesh
West - Ahmedabad or Mumbai (covering Gujarat and Maharashtra)
South - Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad
NCR - Delhi and up to 400 km surrounding area
