The ideal candidate should have basic-level experience in reviewing, editing, and proofreading content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role is perfect for someone with an internship or up to 1 year of experience in content writing, editing, or proofreading.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proofread and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity.
2. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting as per brand guidelines.
3. Review and fact-check articles, reports, and other written materials.
4. Work closely with the research team to enhance readability and engagement.
5. Assist in content structuring, rephrasing, and improving sentence flow.
6. Ensure adherence to SEO and readability guidelines, if applicable.
7. Maintain a quick turnaround time while ensuring quality standards.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
2. 6 months to 1 year of experience in content editing or proofreading (internship experience acceptable).
3. Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and vocabulary.
4. Keen attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
5. Familiarity with style guides such as APA, Chicago, or MLA is a plus.
6. Basic knowledge of SEO and digital content trends is an advantage.
