We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, implementing back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js
2. Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party services
3. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate with client-side applications
4. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
5. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
6. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
7. Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
8. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Node.js and related web technologies
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
2. At least 1 year of experience in Node.js development
3. Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain the backend services and APIs for our mobile app.
4. Implement new features, enhancements, and optimizations using Node.js, Express.js, Typescript, and GraphQL.
5. Should be proficient in setting up the API endpoints and GraphQL schema
6. Work with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end components.
7. Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
8. Perform thorough testing and debugging of backend components to ensure high-quality deliverables.
9. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share constructive feedback with team members.
10. Collaborate with the database team to design and optimize MongoDB database schemas and queries.
11. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions and improvements.
