We are looking for a talented Shopify App Developer to help us build a custom Shopify app that will enhance our offerings. This app is intended to be published on the Shopify App Store, and we are seeking someone who can handle the entire development process from concept through to deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop a custom Shopify app based on our specifications.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
3. Ensure the app integrates smoothly with Shopify's API and other systems.
4. Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure high performance.
5. Prepare the app for submission to the Shopify App Store.
6. Provide ongoing support and address any issues post-launch.
Project Scope:
1. Requirements gathering: Collaborate with our team to understand the app's requirements and objectives.
2. Development: Design and develop the Shopify app, integrating it with Shopify's API and ensuring seamless functionality.
3. Testing and debugging: Test the app thoroughly to ensure it is robust, performs well, and meets our standards.
4. Submission: Prepare and submit the app to the Shopify App Store, ensuring compliance with Shopify's guidelines.
5. Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and updates as needed.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with Shopify Plus and advanced features.
2. Knowledge of backend development languages such as Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
3. Previous experience publishing apps on the Shopify App Store.
4. Understanding of UX/UI principles.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience developing Shopify apps with a strong portfolio.
2. Proficiency with Shopifys API, Liquid, and related technologies.
3. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
4. Experience with version control systems like Git.
5. Ability to write and maintain clear documentation.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
8. This position is contractually based for 3 months.
