Front Office Associate Job

Role: Front Office Assistant / Associate
Location: Tapovan, Rishikesh
Compensation Structure: Salary + Accommodation + Food

Key responsibilities:

1. Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
2. Assist in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
3. Adhere to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
4. Understand room status and room status tracking.
5. Understand room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates as well as the activities and services of the property.
6. Present options and alternatives to guests and help in making choices.
7. Use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
8. Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
9. Maintains guest room key storage and supervise access to safe deposit boxes/rooms.
10. Perform cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, currency exchange,
11. Work closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
12. Understand and perform all safety and emergency procedures.
13. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.

Background:

1-5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry playing similar roles.
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management will be a plus
