Key responsibilities:

1. Develop front-end website architecture
2. Design user interactions on web pages
3. Develop back-end website applications
4. Create servers and databases for functionality
5. Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
6. Ensure responsiveness of applications
7. Work alongside graphic designers for web design features
8. See through a project from conception to finished product
9. Design and develop APIs
10. Meet both technical and consumer needs
11. Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Requirements:

1. Degree in computer science
2. Strong organizational and project management skills
3. Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
4. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber
5. Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .NET
6. Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
7. Excellent verbal communication skills
