Job summary: We are seeking a game developer responsible for building games for various target platforms based on the Unity engine (preferred) or other game engines. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement game functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product is essential.
Key responsibilities:
1. Implement game functionality as per communicated design
2. Translate design specification into functional game
3. Communicate with other team members to establish an effective pipeline and integrate game assets
4. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
5. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications on any platform
6. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
7. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Skills:
1. Knowledge of Unity, including experience with C#, textures, animation, GUI styles, and game physics
2. Familiarity with level design and planning
3. Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware is a plus
4. Experience with 3D and gameplay programming is a plus
5. Prior experience with a well-known mobile title is a significant asset
6. Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving game standards and development technologies
7. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
8. Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
9. A knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
10. Must have experience in the below technologies - Unity 3D Engine, Visual Studio IDE, C# language and Git - Source Tree
