1. Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
2. Obtain input from management and represent the company or client
3. Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload
4. Examine existing processes, identify flaws and create solutions to improve design capabilities
5. Update and maintain internal databases of designs
6. Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, marketing materials etc.
7. Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
8. Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style etc.
9. Manage the design and uploading process of all project material using best practices
10. Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the business and market to design and execute specific classifications
Required:
1. Can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations (print/electronic media both)
2. Have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process
3. Able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects
4. Thorough understanding and ability of branding and marketing styles
5. Bachelor s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
6. Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
7. 2+ years experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, Photoshop)
8. Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills
10. Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines
