Job Summary:
As a Human Resource Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of HR processes within our organisation. You will oversee a broad range of HR operational activities, including but not limited to employee records management, benefits administration, payroll processing, compliance, and HR technology management. Your goal will be to enhance HR operational efficiency, maintain compliance and contribute to a positive employee experience.
Key responsibilities:
1. Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, contracts, and HR databases
Ensure confidentiality and security of all employee records
2. Payroll Processing:
Manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies
Stay updated on payroll tax laws and regulations
3. HR Technology Management:
Oversee the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR technology platforms
Collaborate with IT for system maintenance, upgrades, and Keka management
4. Onboarding and Offboarding:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new orientations
Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding procedures
5. Employee Relations:
Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including disputes, conflicts, and grievances
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
6. Policy Development and Implementation:
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Ensure policy adherence across the organization
7. Training and Development:
Assist in organising employee training and development programs
8. HR Reporting:
Generate HR reports and analytics for management decision-making
