We are seeking a skilled and dynamic social media manager to oversee our social media accounts and communications strategies. As a social media manager, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content, managing posts, and responding to our followers. You will also collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency and develop effective social media campaigns to meet our marketing goals.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to develop effective social media strategies for ongoing projects
2. Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily, including original text, photos, videos, and news
3. Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency and alignment
4. Respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews to maintain a positive company image
5. Oversee social media account design, including Facebook/LinkedIn timeline covers, profile pictures, and blog layouts
6. Suggest and implement new features to enhance brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions
7. Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
8. Develop weekly and monthly content calendars for the company
9. Provide support to the marketing team at live and online events
10. Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
Skills & Requirements:
1. A bachelor's degree in communication or a related field is required, with a master's degree being a plus
2. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is essential
3. Proven experience in content management, copywriting, and social media management is preferred
4. Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
5. A dynamic team player with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent creative skills with the ability to showcase project work and organization
7. Hands-on experience in content management
8. Excellent copywriting skills
9. Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
10. Knowledge of online marketing channels
