About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand design requirements, create innovative interior concepts, and deliver exceptional design solutions.
2. Utilize AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and 3ds Max to develop detailed 2D and 3D renderings, floor plans, elevations, and other visual representations of proposed design concepts.
3. Source and select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the project's vision, budget, and schedule, ensuring a harmonious and cohesive design aesthetic.
4. Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including mood boards, material samples, and color schemes, to effectively communicate design concepts and gain client approval.
5. Generate accurate project documentation, including detailed specifications, construction drawings, and installation plans, to facilitate smooth execution and timely completion of interior design projects.
6. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the seamless procurement, delivery, and installation of furnishings, equipment, and materials, adhering to quality standards and project timelines.
7. Stay updated on emerging design trends, codes, regulations, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance design proposals and deliver cutting-edge, functional, and sustainable interior spaces.
