Junior Chartered Accountant (CA) Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Supervise book-keeping and ensure all the entries are passed for general ledgers, accounts payables, receivables, and banking on a daily basis
2. Work on periodic inter-branch/inter-company reconciliations
3. Review workings relevant to monthly provisions, prepaid workings, unbilled revenue, and reconciliations for all bank statements
4. Work on accounting and closing of US books to prepare monthly P/L statements and balance sheets
5. Review and maintain forward contracts booked with bankers and ensure appropriate entries are passed
6. Review foreign exchange gain/loss on a periodic basis and maintain workings relevant to forex loss/gains to recognize in books
7. Daily watch on forex movements, liaison with bankers, and recommend booking of forward contracts
8. Oversee GST reconciliation statements and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure GST credits are reflected on the GST portal
9. Work on ad-hoc assignments as directed by management
