About the job
As a copywriter in an advertising agency, your primary responsibility is to create compelling and persuasive content that promotes a brand, product, or service.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conceptualizing and developing creative ideas for advertising campaigns
2. Writing copy for print, digital, and broadcast media such as brochures, websites, social media ads, radio and TV commercials, billboards, and direct mail pieces
3. Collaborating with art directors, graphic designers, and other members of the creative team to ensure that the messaging and visuals are aligned and effective
4. Conducting research on the target audience, competitors, and market trends to inform your copywriting
5. Editing and revising copy as needed to ensure that it is clear, concise, and engaging
6. Presenting your ideas and work to clients and colleagues, and incorporating feedback into your copywriting as necessary
7. Adhering to project timelines and deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in advertising and marketing
