We are currently seeking a motivated and talented junior PCB hardware designer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our cutting-edge products, contributing to their overall performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design and development of PCBs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and design best practices
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware developers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to define requirements and specifications for PCB design
3. Create schematic designs and perform component placement and routing in PCB layout software, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad
4. Conduct design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) verification to ensure error-free designs
5. Prepare and review technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
6. Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure manufacturability and resolve any design-related issues
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PCB design and hardware development
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of PCB design principles, including schematic capture, layout, and component selection
Familiarity with PCB layout software, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad
Understanding of electronic circuit principles and common components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, inductors, ICs)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,50,000 - 3,00,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 80%
2. Variable component: 20%
