Junior Video Editor Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Editing and assembling raw video footage, ensuring smooth transitions, and maintaining continuity
2. Collaborating with the creative team, including copywriters, art directors, and clients, to understand project requirements and objectives
3. Assisting in the development of creative concepts and storyboards for video projects
4. Selecting and incorporating suitable music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the overall video quality
5. Implementing graphics, titles, and motion graphics as required
6. Ensuring that video projects adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual and tonal identity
7. Reviewing and organizing video footage, maintaining an organized file structure and archival system
8. Assisting in video shoots, including setting up equipment, managing to light, and capturing additional footage if necessary
9. Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and post-production techniques
10. Assisting with various post-production tasks, such as color grading, audio mixing, and exporting files in different formats

As a junior video editor, you will work closely with senior video editors and the creative team to learn and develop your skills. Attention to detail, creativity, a strong sense of storytelling, and proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer) are essential for this role. Additionally, having knowledge of motion graphics software (such as Adobe After Effects) and a basic understanding of cinematography and camera operation can be beneficial.
