About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate-related contracts, including lease agreements, purchase agreements, and service contracts
2. Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies
3. Conduct legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and case law and provide legal opinions and analysis to support business decisions and strategies
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local real estate laws and regulations
5. Review title reports, zoning laws, environmental reports, and other due diligence documents
6. Ensure proper documentation and filing of all legal and compliance-related materials
7. Advise management and other departments on legal matters related to real estate operations
8. Provide training and guidance on legal issues to staff as needed
