1. Preparing test scenarios and test cases based on project documents including functional/business requirement document (BRD) and software requirement specification (SRS)
2. Understanding the entire application/modules and their functionalities with reference to BRD and walkthrough of the system
3. Interacting with business users to understand product requirements
4. Handling documentation and maintenance of the version management
5. Preparing flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and wireframes as required
6. Executing sanity testing, smoke testing, regression testing, system testing, and UAT
7. Executing all test cases and recording the observations
8. Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
9. Preparing the testing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the relevant teams
10. Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
11. Collaborating closely with all stakeholders
12. Providing timely feedback & workable solutions where applicable
13. Maintaining the bug/issue log and coordinating with the developer for resolution
14. Participating in review meetings and walk-through meetings
15. Attending status calls as needed to report on testing progress
