Mechanical Design Engineer Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work on the design and development of drivetrain systems and components, including gearbox and motor packaging
2. Create models, drawings, and bills of material for all new products
3. Design drivetrain components such as castings, gears, splines, shafts & bearings
4. Analyze all gearbox components for strength and service life
5. Assist in product testing to ensure product compliance
6. Aid in the assembly of prototypes and help train assembly personnel on all new products
7. Gather relevant data, synthesize the data, and identify relationships to predict failure modes

Skills & Requirements:

1. B. Tech degree
2. Have good knowledge or background in metalworking and machining
3. Have a working background in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, AutoCAD is a plus
4. Understanding of FEA and GD&T
5. Understand basic metallurgy and heat treatment processes of various metals
6. Basic knowledge of the die and/or sand casting process
7. Hands-on experience using standard inspection equipment & gaging
8. Good oral and written communications skills
9. Have basic MS Office skills in Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
