About the job

Key responsibilities include:

1. CI/CD Pipeline Development - Design, create, and maintain fully automated CI build pipelines for various environments supporting Adobe applications.

2. Automation - Develop and implement automation solutions to replace manual processes, enhancing developer productivity and accelerating delivery timelines.

3. Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Continuously monitor build and deployment pipelines, proactively identify bottlenecks, and resolve build/release issues.

4. Collaboration - Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate release workflows seamlessly into the development lifecycle.

5. Security - Ensure the security and integrity of build artifacts, manage binary signing, and secure the supply chain.

6. Documentation - Produce clear, high-quality documentation to support adoption of new tools and processes within the team.

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including operating systems, computer architecture, and OS internals.

3. Proficiency in Python, with a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and debugging.

4. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including workflows, job dependencies, secrets, and custom actions.

5. Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Groovy).

6. Good knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

7. Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, and familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code.

Additional Preferred Skills:

1. Experience working on build and release systems for software development teams.

2. Strong debugging skills and a proactive approach to finding long-term solutions.

3. Eagerness to tackle complex problems and explore new technologies and user experience improvements.

4. Ability to research and quickly learn new tools and technologies.

5. Effective communication and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative developer environment.

6. Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
