Motor Control Firmware Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test firmware for VCU, OBC, BMS, motor controllers, and display units
2. Build firmware solutions from the ground up, ensuring reliability and performance across all systems
3. Integrate firmware with hardware components and optimize code for real-time applications
4. Work closely with hardware engineers to understand system requirements and constraints
5. Develop communication protocols, such as CAN, LIN, or UART, for inter-system communication
6. Implement safety features and fault diagnostics for robust and fail-safe operation
7. Participate in the selection of microcontrollers (MCUs) and other critical hardware components
8. Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues at both the hardware and software levels
9. Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, design specifications, and test plans
10. Stay updated with the latest advancements in EV firmware development and industry standards
