About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide support in the areas of networking and wireless networking
2. Troubleshoot wireless client devices (e.g., iPhones, laptops)
3. Perform monitoring of various WLAN technologies and topologies (e.g., Cisco Prime, DNA)
4. Consult with both internal as well as client teams to drive solutions from design to completion
5. Operate, administer, and govern customer setup
6. Provide leadership in technical problem management and the resolution of all issues, working closely with end customers and HP remote and field support staff
7. Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers, customers, and/or relevant managers
8. Participate in after-hours remote support rosters
9. Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency
10. Contribute to the improvement of team performance as measured in the team business fundamentals tables (BFT)
11. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
12. Participate in/drive ITIL-based change management, problem management, and incident management
