New Product Development Manager Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Take tabletop trials for new products that are under development
2. Collect feedback to approve a formulation and design scale-up process
3. Identify vendors for raw materials, packaging materials, and ancillary services
4. Plan and execute pilot trials and production for the first batch
5. Generate and maintain SOPs for all recipes and production processes
6. Manage multiple projects across the R&D cycle at the same time

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, chemical engineering, or related fields
2. 1+ years of experience in an R&D setup in the packaged food and beverage industry
3. A strong understanding of the basics of food science
4. Understanding and passion for the current FMCG industry in India
5. Ability to multitask
6. Proficient with Microsoft Excel
7. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Note: The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating and developing new recipes for FMCG products in their packaged format. You will lead our R&D efforts across recipe development, vendor finalization, packaging procurement, and production. You will have strong attention to detail and a curiosity to learn and explore.
