Key Responsibilities:

1. The Know Your Client (KYC) officer focuses on client onboarding (COB) and exceptions in line with regulatory standards and jurisdictions.
2. Verify the identity of clients using official documents
3. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer information and due diligence processes.
4. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., legal, compliance, risk management) to ensure a unified approach to KYC.
5. Prepare reports for senior management regarding KYC processes, compliance status, and risk assessments.
6. Handle issues related to KYC compliance, ensuring a balance between regulatory adherence and customer service.
