About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the day-to-day operations of the company, including production, inventory management, quality control, and logistics
2. Assist with tasks such as coordinating production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, conducting quality checks, and coordinating shipping and distribution
3. Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and improve efficiency
4. Work closely with the management team to identify areas for improvement, document procedures, and support the training of employees in following standardized processes
5. Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth production schedules, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to quality standards
6. Work on monitoring production progress, identifying bottlenecks, and assisting in problem-solving to ensure efficient and high-quality production outcomes
7. Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market demands, and competitor products to support decision-making processes
8. Gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management
9. Contribute to strategic planning, product development, and marketing initiatives
10. Assist in the maintenance of inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting periodic audits, and facilitating replenishment orders
11. Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory data, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory levels
12. Support the procurement process by liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, and maintaining good relationships with vendors
13. Assist in sourcing materials and components required for production, evaluating supplier performance, and negotiating favorable terms to optimize the company's supply chain
14. Assist in data collection and analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency
15. Work with the management team to define relevant KPIs, collect data, and develop reports and dashboards to track performance against targets
16. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and sales, to ensure effective communication and coordination across departments
17. Work on participating in meetings, contributing to project teams, and supporting initiatives that require cross-departmental collaboration
