Optometrist Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Perform a thorough routine comprehensive eye examination
2. Diagnose refractive errors and color blindness
3. Prescribe corrective lenses
4. Counsel the customers regarding the selection of appropriate frames and lenses
5. Record all diagnoses and prescriptions
6. Pitch the sale of frames and lenses to prospective customers
7. Initiate bills to the customer based on the tariff chart in the billing module
8. Settle cash and card accounts every day
9. Record all inventory and track inventory from the inventory module
10. Report replenishment requirements and available stock as per the processes defined by the organization

Qualification:

1. Diploma in optometry or B.Sc in optometry with a minimum 1 year of experience (must)
2. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and any other regional language (added advantage)
3. Clear articulation and active listening skills
4. Ability to build rapport and trusting relationships
5. Ability to understand the unstated needs of the customer and offer solutions
6. Should have knowledge of the latest trend of frames in the market
7. Should have information about pricing and offers at the store to pitch to customers
8. Proactive task ownership, result orientation, and customer-orientation
9. Ability to multitask and organize activities based on priority
