As a payroll executive in a manpower service company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for the organization's workforce. This role involves managing payroll functions, compliance with labor laws, and maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
Key responsibilities:
1. Payroll processing:
A. Collect and validate employee time and attendance records
B. Calculate wages, salaries, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation components
C. Process payroll accurately and on time, considering statutory deductions, benefits, and other relevant factors
2. Compliance and recordkeeping:
A. Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements
B. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations
C. Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audits and reporting
3. Reporting:
A. Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, finance, and HR departments
B. Prepare and file payroll tax reports as required
4. Communication:
A. Respond to employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll and taxes
B. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues
5. Continuous improvement:
A. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes
B. Suggest and implement system enhancements or automation to increase efficiency
6. Confidentiality:
A. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and payroll data
Who can apply:
1. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
2. Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role
3. Knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
4. Familiarity with labor laws and payroll tax regulations
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
