Purchase Executive Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Understand the requirement specification for existing and new vendors
2. Communicate to fixed supplier material/labor requirements for existing and new vendors
3. Initiate purchase of raw material/standard off-the-shelf parts/outsource process based on work orders for existing and new vendors
4. Get samples approved by quality control and work towards sample approval for existing and new vendors
5. Negotiate product quality terms, payment terms, and delivery terms with the supplier for new vendors
6. Renegotiate payment terms quarterly. for existing and new vendors
7. Maintain and update the supplier directory for all items regularly
8. Make a purchase order
9. Follow up with supplier till sample is made for existing and new vendors
10. Follow up with outsourcing quality control engineer till the sample approval
11. Communicate same with supplier for existing and new vendors,
12. Maintain all communication records on email.
13. Initiate with transport, and co-ordinate with factory till receipt of goods entry
14. Visit supplier on-site to discuss requirements
15. Maintain points for supplier evaluation
16. Follow up with supplier for the batch lot, and have batch lot approved by QC engineer for existing and new vendors
17. Co-ordinate with clearing house agents to prepare documents for import clearance
18. Follow up with accounts to get customs duty paid
19. Get balance payments cleared by following with accounts
