Quality controllers should have a strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques as per BIS/EN71/ASTM etc.
Key responsibilities:
1. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping
2. Understand in detail the documents, specifications, and quality standards of material/products and services
3. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations
4. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
5. Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence
6. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
7. Procurement (both domestic and import) certification of raw material procurement as per international standards (Be up to date with all standards)
8. Involve in the procurement and production process
9. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
10. Coordinate with labs, testing equipment suppliers, and department for renewal of licenses and liaison other work
