We are looking for an admissions counselor who is extremely customer-centric and excited by the challenges of a new emerging business environment. As an admissions counselor, you will develop new leads, communicate with customers, understand their needs, and ensure a smooth sales process. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Key responsibilities:
1. Working on the end-to-end student admission cycle
2. Handling student inquiries effectively
3. Explaining available IT courses and their payment plans to candidates, resolving their doubts and queries accordingly
4. Following up with candidates for course/program enrollment and payment, as well as making follow-up calls for due payments
5. Timely updating and scheduling of upcoming batches for all concerned team members, trainers, and students
6. Achieving targets set by the reporting manager
7. Maintaining an MIS of students who have taken admissions or made inquiries
8. Enhancing admissions department and institute reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests for admissions
9. Handling objections and price negotiations to generate sales revenue
10. Maintaining effective communication until the learner is onboarded
Required Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of the IT field
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an admissions counselor/sales executive
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
4. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
6. Excellent written and spoken communication skills (proficiency in English)
7. Strong sales mindset to understand and effectively communicate what Cyberium is offering to prospective students and close applications
8. Ability to approach any situation with patience and strong empathy
9. Passion to deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times
10. Must be a team player with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet targets/deadlines
11. Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferable
12. IT graduates are preferred with good knowledge of cybersecurity
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,25,000 - 2,50,000 /year
6 days working (Tuesday or Wednesday off)
Shift Timing: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
