We have an urgent requirement for an Application Architect for a 2 months project with client . The selected candidate will play a critical role in migrating an on-premise application to an Azure target state. This project has the potential to lead to larger opportunities based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the application lead from a business perspective, collaborating with other application architects who have a more infrastructure-oriented focus.
Develop an application design for migrating an existing on-premise application to Azure, utilizing Azure application experience, Azure SQL Server, and Azure App Service skills.
Analyze existing discovery application and infrastructure data available from the initial Discovery project to inform the design process.
Prepare application design documentation in accordance with client documentation standards.
Conduct workshops to present design proposals to stakeholders, gathering feedback and securing support.
Submit the application design for review by the client, and present findings and designs to relevant stakeholders.
Address any remediation feedback from the client review to achieve final approval from the board.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Application Architect, specifically with Azure application architecture.
Strong expertise in Azure SQL Server and Azure App Services.
Familiarity with application design documentation standards.
Experience presenting and facilitating workshops with stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently under tight deadlines.
