Popcorn Animation Studios (PAS) was started in 2010, in Mumbai, by Indrajit Chandra, an original creator and artist by heart. The studio initially designed short formats animations for e-learning and webisodes and eventually migrated to creating its own designs and products, which is indeed something everyone in Popcorn is passionate about. Since its humble beginnings, in the past decade-plus of its existence, the studio has now become a respected name, not just with Indian broadcasters as an independent producer of kid's 2D animation content but has also been regularly adding reputed International and Indian clienteles, as a pure service studio for episodic animation work, catering to different formats and diverse styles of animation. Today it boasts an enviable collection of artists, who complete storyboards, character, and location designs in a breeze, for Indian and overseas clients.
