Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage both cash and accrual accounting systems efficiently
2. Provide comprehensive financial reporting with dashboard views for better insights
3. Specialize in SMB accounting and industry-specific financial solutions
4. Perform catch-up bookkeeping and books cleanup services, including historical data reconstruction
5. Handle specialized eCommerce accounting and wholesale distributor accounts
6. Oversee bill pay services with due date tracking and approval systems
7. Process 1099 forms and manage contractor payments
8. Handle invoicing services and billing platform management
9. Monitor real-time inventory systems for accurate stock tracking
10. Manage purchase orders and optimize stock levels
11. Implement advanced revenue recognition procedures
12. Handle multiple revenue schedules with product-specific customizations
13. Prepare and file individual tax returns (Form 1040)
14. Handle complex individual tax situations
15. Manage tax planning and optimization strategies
16. Process multiple state tax returns
17. Provide tax advisory services to individuals
18. Manage accounts receivable and collection processes
19. Ensure sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
20. Handle tax calculations and compliance monitoring
21. Process business tax filings and provide CPA services

Requirements:

1. Proficient in QuickBooks (Advanced level)
2. Familiar with Odoo (preferred) or willing to lear
3. Experience using other SMB accounting platforms like Xero and Zoho Books
4. Cleared all CPA exams successfully
5. Proven experience with remote work
6. Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements
7. Expertise in eCommerce and wholesale distribution accounting
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
10. Advanced technical aptitude with accounting software platforms
