1. Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with business goals and marketing campaigns
2. Lead and mentor writers editors and freelancers. Assign tasks track progress and provide constructive feedback
3. Ensure all content is original (no AI content), brand-aligned, well-written, and optimized for SEO and Google EEAT standards
4. Stay up to date with the latest Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and content marketing best practices. Ensure the team's work remains aligned with evolving industry standards
5. Work closely with design, video, ad, and development teams to ensure cohesive content delivery
6. Track content metrics, derive insights, and adjust strategies for better results
7. Build and refine workflows, tools, and systems for greater efficiency and scalability
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
2. At least 6 months of experience leading a content team and managing editorial calendars
3. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
4. Strong project management and organizational abilities
5. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and SEO best practices
6. An analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from content performance data
7. Experience managing newsletters or multi-format content is a plus
