Data Prospector/Web Researcher Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Collecting and editing data through extensive web research and Google Sheets
2. Analyzing multiple information sources to resolve factual discrepancies in data
3. Ensuring the quality of data in the database
4. Collaborating on client strategy, outreach performance, and reporting
5. Engaging in online discussions and virtual meetings with colleagues on best practices for getting positive results

Who can apply:

1. Excel at finding anything and everything online and a data guru who loves pinpointing discrepancies and fixing sets
2. Stats or spreadsheet junkie
3. Superb at finding information on the web quickly, creatively, and accurately at-scale
4. Has experience working in web research, link building, localization projects, data collection, research and information analysis, or something similar
5. Tech-savvy and always interested in learning new tools
6. Comfortable navigating Excel and Google Sheets, and can type reasonably fast
7. Can point to experience working to deadlines and handling large volumes of data
8. Have the ability to problem-solve and think creatively, but also ask questions when needed
9. Can demonstrate to us a history of being detail-oriented, organized, and communicative
10. Want a full-time remote position
11. Can handle UK (GMT Time Zone) working hours of 8 am - 5 pm, and be available for meetings
12. Have a stable, high-speed, fiber-optic internet connection; a webcam; and a mic
