Data Scientist Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Handling data engineering and management - creating cleaned, formatted database to analyze web-scraped data at scale
2. Implementing search-based retrieval of details of similar products available on different websites once the database is created
3. Using data modeling and machine learning techniques for accurately matching products available on different websites
4. Building resilient solutions which are modular, reusable, extensible & scalable
5. Collaborating with the product engineering and development team to productionize the model (real-time processing using cloud)

Requirement:

1. Working knowledge of Python, R, SQL, Hadoop
2. Candidates with analytical skills: data cleaning and wrangling, statistics, EDA, NLP, data science and machine learning techniques (especially in string matching, random forest, etc.), training and testing models at scale
3. Adept & able to quickly learn new DS and ML techniques
4. Ability to innovate and improvise when faced with challenges
